We invite you to join us on Friday October 24th for a deeply meaningful evening dedicated to awareness, healing, and hope.
Unmasking Addiction: A Night of Hope and Support is more than just a fundraiser—it's a movement. It's a chance to stand with families affected by substance use disorder, to celebrate recovery, and to honor those we have lost too soon.
This powerful event is co-hosted by Face the Facts DE founder Penny Rogers and her cousin, Deborah Deal. Deborah is not only a devoted board member, but a woman whose own life has been marked by unimaginable loss. Together, Penny and Deborah have lost not just Penny’s son, Vincent Tambourelli, but Deborah’s sister, Kimberly, and two beloved nephews to overdose. Their shared grief has become a driving force behind their advocacy and community efforts.
Deborah brings incredible heart to our board of directors. Her quiet strength, unwavering commitment, and deep compassion are behind so much of the work we do at Face the Facts DE. This event is especially personal to her—as it is to all of us.
