We’re a dynamic & inclusive gathering dedicated to fostering growth, learning, and emotional support to anyone impacted by a substance use disorder. Here’s what you can expect:
1. Inspiring Speakers: Our meetings feature diverse and engaging speakers who share their unique perspectives and experiences. Each speaker brings a different facet of knowledge and insight, making every session a rich tapestry of learning.
2. Safe and Supportive Environment: We create a nurturing space where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts and experiences. Whether you’re looking to learn, reflect, or simply listen, you’ll find a welcoming and empathetic atmosphere.
3. Eclectic and Emotional: Our meetings are a blend of various topics and emotional journeys. From personal stories to professional insights, the eclectic nature of our sessions ensures there’s something for everyone.
4. Inclusive for All: These meetings are open to everyone, regardless of whether you’re in recovery or not. Our goal is to provide valuable experiences and support to anyone interested in personal growth and understanding.
5. Networking and Resource Sharing Opportunity: Our meeting offers a space for professionals in the behavioral health field to connect and for individuals directly or indirectly impacted by substance use and mental health issues to access vital resources. This can be an important way to raise awareness, bridge gaps, and foster meaningful connections within our community.

We are so many things to so many people. We are a committed community partner to anyone whose mission is committed to aiding those struggling with SUD, recovery, mental health, homelessness or simply needing a hand up in life.
We meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month at The Strano & Feeley Funeral Home at 630 pm. We are in our 6th year for these meetings. At these meetings you will hear journeys to recovery, families who are celebrating their loved ones recovery or sadly death, resources for pretty much everything come and share and Narcan training. These meetings allow you to truly understand you are not alone on life's walk.
Face the Facts is frequently out in the community doing outreaches, clothing drives, Narcan training and referrals to our many community partners for resources.
Face the Facts was the leading force to have, state, county and all cities, towns and villages in Delaware lowering their flags on August 31st in recognition of those lost to Overdoses.
Face the Facts DE is the founder of Overdose Awareness Day DE held annually. This event was held at Delcastle Recreational Park on September 21st. This is a free family event.
