Face the Facts DE is a grassroots movement of individuals and organizations in the recovery community whose goal is to remove the stigma surrounding those with substance use disorder while bringing awareness to the epidemic of overdose deaths while shining a light on the wonders that occur every day in the recovery community. Together we believe in spreading hope and connecting those in need with the resources to improve their daily lives.
We partner with and attend outreach events to improve the quality of life in our community by providing essential services to those in need. We work with local organizations and volunteers to assist in identified areas of need.
In partnership with Delaware Health and Social Services, the Board of Face the Facts is certified to train and distribute Narcan. If you'd like us to come to your event or host a training event, let's talk.
The fund's mission is to honor those who have lost their life to SUD by assisting with direct cremation costs.
If you are in need of these services, please reach out to Penny Rogers directly.
We organize and sponsor a variety of community events throughout the year, including festivals, fundraisers, and educational seminars. These events are designed to promote community engagement and build stronger, more connected neighborhoods.
We maintain an up-to-date database of community resources, including food banks, shelters, and other essential services. Our goal is to connect individuals with the services they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
Our community support network provides a safe and welcoming space for individuals to connect with others and receive emotional support. We offer a variety of support groups and counseling services to help individuals cope with life's challenges.
